About Amfit UniversityAmfit Education Program
The Amfit Education Program was formally created in 1999 to enhance the understanding and application of custom foot orthoses for the treatment of lower extremity maladies. This program includes the development of the Amfit Education Center, a fully equipped facility that allows up to 25 participants to attend seminars and workshop on the use of digital technology for the design and fabrication of custom foot orthoses.Accredited Seminars/Workshops
Amfit conducts and/or co-sponsors seminars and workshops on the use of custom foot orthoses for the treatment and prevention of lower extremity disease and injuries. The courses range from short mini-seminars (3-4 hours) to three-day hands-on workshops (24 hours). The unique aspects of our workshops include small class sizes, ample hands-on practice with instrumentation and excellent networking opportunities with experienced clinicians in various practice settings. Faculty for the workshops includes ACT members as well as medical specialists. Amfit educational courses are accredited for Continuing Education points by The American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics.
