General
Founded in 1975, Amfit Inc. has grown to become the world leader in computerized
custom insole / foot orthotic equipment and supplies.

Amfit has two primary businesses.
1) Producing the equipment required for insole production
2) Manufacturing the supplies for said equipment.

The insole production equipment consists of a foot measurement device, "FootFax™", and a CAD/CAM milling machine. Driving this technology is Amfit’s patented "Correct and Confirm" Windows™ based software.

The supply side of the business includes insole blanks for customers who own an Amfit CAD/CAM mill and an insole fabrication center for customers who choose to have their insoles manufactured at our site. This "Central Fab" model also allows new Amfit customers a low-cost way to get into the business without investing in a complete system. Foot data files are transferred to our state of the art fab center by modem.

Amfit has a world-wide installed base of hundreds of systems. Since every new site is a new supplies customer, Amfit has a large and growing annuity on the supply side of our business.
